Update Patch Release Notes

IGP:DP 4.4.0 - Updates, Upgrades & Enhancements

The following updates have been implemented in this release:

  1. SCORM format - The following updates have been done in the existing SCORM Packager

    1. Added the "ims_xml.xsd" file along with the other Schema files in the root of the package.

    2. Removed the "imslrm.xml" file from the package.

    3. Updated the the "imsmanifest.xml" file, to have the same value in the "default" attribute within the <organizations> tag, as the "identifier" attribute of the <organization> tag.

  2. Format Generation Process - An new button named Abort is now introduced on the Formats generation interface. The Abort button will only display when there are mutilple format generation requests in queue.

    The user for whom the format generation is in progress the Abort button will not appear. However for users who have their format generation request in queue will see the Abort button and can stop the format generation process at anytime by simply clicking the Abort button.

  3. AIE JS Packaging updates - The following updates have been done

    1. Updated for Highlight and Notes feature.

    2. Updated for supporting QAA new features implemented on QAA Set block.

    3. Updated for QAA Textmatch answermap drag and drop. When an answer is dropped to an editable field, and if that field already got an answer, existing answer goes back to its place on answermap when new answer is dragged and dropped.

    4. Updated for stopping the audio/video on widgets popup panel when popup is closed.

    5. Updated the sequence of JS files in the INI file.

  4. Delete documents in Master Delete library - Delete All and Delete Selected Documents options are now introduced on the Maintenance Master Delete Library interface. (The options are only available for users who have the Maintainer rights to access the Master Delete Library)

    A new option named Select All is now available on the Master Delete Library interface. The delete all the documents from the Master Delete Library you must select the check-box against the opton Select All and click the delete "X" button  available right new to the option "Select All".

    You can now select individual documents you want to delete by simply selecting the check-box available against each document on the Master Delete Library interface and click the delete "X"button available on the top right hand corner.

  5. Writer Components Accordian updates - A new accordion named Account Components is now added to the Accordions Menu available on the left of the Writer interface.

    The Account Components are available to every book and may be useful for managing graphics and other files that may be included in multiple documents availalble under a particular account.

    In an event where a particular Account is deleted from the system all the assets that are accessible from Account Components will also be deleted.

    There are a few minor changes made to the Accordions Menu. Details are below

    1. Changed the existing Project Components label to Document Components.

    2. Users can now Delete All Components files from the selected folder. Select the folder and click the Delete button available at the top.

    3. Download All Components files from the selected folder is now implemented. Select the folder and click the Download button available at the top.

    4. Upload ZIP file to selected folder, which will unzip and upload files into the directory. This is not  applicable to download_files location.

    5. Authentication of User for the Deleteing and Uploading Components is implemented

  6. Updates to DPI form - The following CSS updates were done for styling

    1. Increasing list header line height as per the size of content.

    2. H4 styling

  7. Formats - default-style pragma in EPUB3 HTML head has been modified to <meta charset="UTF-8">, which was previously <meta http-equiv="default-style" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/>.

  8. LRPE Font Upload Queue status - Updated for fonts upload into FM2 to display the LRPE queue status for the uploaded fonts.

  9. Security Updates - for Maintenance user related to create/edit/delete/view maintenance users

IGP:DP 4.4.0 - Bug Fixes

  1. Edit / Read was causing loading issue when User Firstname or Lastname was changed.

  2. User Lastname was not modifying.

  3. Book Title Page section was missing from IGP Doc Designer.

  4. DD fix - Any new declaration added in Print CSS galley-rw selector for.eg. "color: red;" the declaration is getting stripped on DD save.

  5. TOC fixes - the following TOC fixes have been done

    1. Output ebook TOC - Retained exclude references link content in 'Preview Mode' and link will be removed.

    2. InsertedCopyright-rw and CopyrightInserted-rw class statements are handled for Auto TOC generation. Previously they were treated like 'Copyright-rw' and excluded from auto generated TOC, but now it will come in the writer auto generated TOC section as well as in the eBook output but title block with <h1> title should be there in the section.

    3. Without link list-item during TOC link optimization would get stripped form final output. So now the without link list-item will not be removed from output.

  6. Updated HTML entity in the Document Title which is used in the "metadata-rw metadata-section-rw" during the Remix and Dynamic Remix insert process.

  7. ePub3 - Remove Index Page Links from the Index section was not working when user select "Remove Index Page Links" option in the DPI metadata.

  8. Metadata value in the ePub2 OPF - After the Copy Document process where user creates copy document and provides a title, the DPM Info title used to appear in the ePub2 OPF of the new title. This is now fixed to take the title from DPI form.

  9. Hyperlinking QC Report - The following fixes were done

    1. Hyperlink validation feature updated to  avoid displaying 'mailto' instances.

    2. Hyperlinking QC Report had html title as Note Footnotes QC Report

  10. Reader Queue Memory Increase - The Worklist handler was consuming huge amount of memory, during FX Processing activity.
    Reader Worklist Handler now spawns a new system process for the format generation. After the format generation is done, the process gets terminated and the memory gets released. So the Worklist Handler does not keep consuming all the memory.

  11. Strip ID was not working in the CSS Custom sections context, due to smart quotes value appearing in 'prince-text-replace' property

  12. Full Screen view - In Reader to view full screen video option added attributes to iframe. tooltip="aHTMLTooltip" allowfullscreen="true" mozallowfullscreen="true"
