Step by Step

A sequential list of tasks from creating a book to distributing it.

 

  1. Add Distribution Channels - DEFAULT data will be present.
  2. Add Channel Format Map - DEFAULT data will be present.
  3. Add Publishers
  4. Add Rights Profiles - DEFAULT data will be present.
  5. Update Publisher ONIX Information
  6. Manage Users - Add users if necessary.
  7. Update Account Details
  8. Add Controlled Vocabularies
  9. Distribution Channels - Select your preferred distribution channels and configure the Channel pricing rules.
  10. Currency Rules - Create your default currency conversion rules and price generation rules.
  11. Right Profiles - Create your own Rights Profiles and make them available to be assigned to individual books.
  12. Create New Record - Create a new ONIX record by importing an existing ONIX XML file, import a formatted metadata spreadsheet, or using the on page forms method.
  13. Reports - Edit metadata, rights or price of a book.
  14. Upload the book - Upload the book for distribution.
  15. Status - Distribute your books.
