Price Review and Approve

Price Review and Approve

When something is updated or uploaded in a book, the particular book will not be Auto-Distributed. So, when you update the price of a book, the book will be transferred to the Price Review and Approve screen. Distribution of price updated books have to be done manually.

The Price Review and Approve screen has a Filter Bar with which you can sort the books by Channel, Title, ISBN or Author.

Distribute Price-updated books

To Start

1. From the Main Page, click the Status button. 
2. In the Status page, click Distribution Alerts. You can also jump to Distribution Alerts by clicking the Distribution Alerts link on the top left of any screen of IGP:Distribution Manager.
3. The Distribution Alerts screen shows a list of categories with items up for distribution.
4. From the list of items, click the Price Review and Approve button. This action will take you to the Price Review and Approve screen.
5. A list of books ready for Manual-distribution along with a short summary of each will be displayed. The summary contains the information about which book can be manually distributed to which channel. You can also edit the price of a book for a channel here.
6. With the help of the Filter Bar on top, you can filter the books by Channel, ISBN, Title or Author. Click the Show button to filter the items. This is especially handy when you have a large number of books in queue for manual distribution.

To distribute Price-updated books

1. In the Price Review and Approve screen, browse for the book(s) you want to distribute.
2. Select the books you want to distribute by selecting the Checkbox.
3. After the selection is done, click the Distribute button. The selected books will be distributed to the assigned channels.

Edit Price of a book

To Start

1. From the Main Page, click the Status button.

4. From the list of items, click the Price Review and Approve button. This action will take you to the Price Review and Approve screen.

To edit Price of a book

1. In the Price Review and Approve screen, browse for the book(s) for which you want to edit the price.
2. After finding the particular book you want to edit price, click the Edit Price (Blue) button from the Tools section of the book. This square button has the Letter P inside it.
3. The Channel-Currency-Price form will open.
4. The Channel-Currency-Price form has a Channel, Currency and an editable Price field. Here, you can change the price of a book in any of its assigned channel.
5. Edit the Price of the book for any channel you want from the list.
6. Click Save to confirm the new edited price.
7. To go back to the previous page (Price Update Re-Distribution Alerts page) without making any changes, click Cancel.

Remove an item from the Distribution queue

1. From the Main Page, click the Status button.

To remove an item from the Distribution queue

1. In the Price Review and Approve screen, browse for the book(s) you want to remove from the distribution queue.
2. After finding the particular book you want to remove from the distribution queue, click the Remove from distribution queue (Red) button from the Tools section of the book. This square button has the Letter X inside it.
3.  The Confirmation Dialogue Box will appear on your screen.
4. To confirm the removal of the book, click OK.
5. If you don't want to remove the book, click Cancel.
