Overview

The most simple product is a book. A book product is a single EPUB that has been configured with format delivery options and pricing and is therefore ready to sell by format.

Once a product is created it can be mapped to catalogs.

Preconditions

To perform all the actions on Purchase Products. 

1. User is logged in as ACF Administrator
2. User is on the main ACF Interface
3. User has already created a Account in the system
4. User is within the Account Context
5. User is able to view the Administration options

View Purchase Products list

Preconditions

Steps

1. Click the Purchase Product link
2. ACF displays the list of Purchase Products in the system.
3. The user can click on the Product Title to view the Purchase Product operations

Change Purchase Product metadata

Preconditions

Steps

1. Click the "Purchase Product" link
2. Application displays the list of Purchase products in the system.
   
3. Click on the Product title
4. Application displays the Product options.
5. Click on the "Metadata" link.
6. Application displays the metadata update form
   
7. User can change the metadata values and click OK to save the metadata to Database

Format Controls

1. Click the "Purchase Product" link
2. ACF displays the list of Purchase products in the system.
   
3. Click on the Product title
4. ACF displays the Product options.
5. Click on the "Format Control" link.
6. ACF displays the form to setup the purchase offers. ACF displays "Set Format Pricing" tab.
   

    

7. User can
   1. Set the Product Price
   2. Set pricing by Format.
   3. Enable the formats available on purchase
   4. Set the download count.
8. Click OK to save the offer.

Setup Purchase Product Access Code

Steps

1. Click the "Purchase Product" link
2. ACF displays the list of Purchase products in the system.
   
3. Click on the Product title
4. ACF displays the Product options.
5. Click on the "Format Control" link.
6. ACF displays the form to setup the purchase offers
   
7. Click the "Acess Codes Based" link
8. ACF displays the form to setup Access Code
   
9. Select the formats available to the Customer who redeems the access code.
10. Select Active checkbox to make the access codes active.
11. Key in the Offer Title.
12. Key in the number of Access codes to be created.
13. Key in the number of downloads allowed for a Product accessed using access code.
14. Click Save to create the Access Code
15. ACF creates the access code offer.

Download Purchase Product Access Code

 Steps

1. Click the "Purchase Product" link
2. ACF displays the list of Purchase products in the system.
   
3. Click on the Product title
4. ACF displays the Product options.
5. Click on the "Format Control" link.
6. ACF displays the form to setup the purchase offers
   
7. Click the "Access Code Based" tab.
8. ACF displays the existing offers for the Purchase Product in "Access Code Based" tab.
9. Click on "Download CSV File" to download the Access Code list in XLS format.
   
10. The downloaded file lists all the access codes and also the redemption status and name of user who redeemed the access code.

Change Purchase Product Cover

 Steps

1. Click the "Purchase Product" link
2. ACF displays the list of Purchase products in the system.
   
3. Click the "Upload Cover" link
4. ACF display the Cover upload form.
   
5. Browse and select the new cover files.
6. Click OK to upload the new cover for the Product.

Map Free Product

ACF allows Publisher to assign a free product to be distributed with Purchase Product. When the customer purchases the Product, the free product is automatically added to the Customer's account.

Steps

1. Click the "Purchase Product" link
2. ACF displays the list of Purchase products in the system.
   
3. Click the "Map Free Product" link
4. ACF displays the Assign Free Product interface list all the products that can be set as free product
   
5. Select the Free product by clicking the check box with the book title to be provided to the Customer.
6. Click OK to save the information to database
