Account Hyphenation List Administration

Overview

IGP:Digital Publisher allows a publisher to control a standard master hyphenation dictionary and book custom modification of that list.

The Account Hyphenation list is used in IGP:Typography In the Browser and is applied to all books.

Administering the Account Hyphen List

You can setup and change the hyphenation list at any time.

You must have Administrator priveleges to access the templates interface.

From the Administration interface click the Templates toolbar. The Template Administration interface will open.

Click the Hyphenation List button.

The Hyphenation List Editor interface will open.

You can now enter your global account hyphenation words.

When you have completed entering your Hyphen list click Save. The new or modified list will now be available for all books being typeset in TIB.

Hyphen Control

You can stop words being hyphenated or force the discretionary hyphenation points on any word. This will be applied globally on any occurence of a word in the list across all books unless modified by the books hyphen list.

Hyphen Stop List

To stop a word being hyphenated enter it in full without any hyphens.

Discretionary Hyphen List

These words will be excluded from hyphenation during PDF generation.

To apply discretionary hyphens to a word enter it with the hyphens at your required hyphenation points. If the word is a target for hyphenation it will only hyphenate at those points.

dia-monds
mil-lions
mil-lion
sur-pris-ingly
tan-ta-liz-ing-ly

Both Stop and Discretionary hyphen words can be included anywhere in the list. Sequence is only a criteria for human operation of the list.

There should be no gaps in the list.
