Update Patch Release Notes


IGP:DP 3.5.0 - Updates, Upgrades & Enhancements

The following updates have been implemented in this release:

  1. Login Page: The placeholder text is now removed from the Forgot Password and Forgot Username interface and instead is changed as a label. The remaining process with regards to recovering the username and password still remains the same.
    The confirmation message that displays upon using the Forgot Password and Forgot Username option is now changed.

  2. Login Page: Users can now login to IGP:Digital Publisher using the email address that is updated on their profile. The email login will only work if the email address is unique and is not updated on multiple user profiles.

  3. User Details: A new button named "Download" is now introduced on the "Admin Users" interface. You can get the list of users under particular account along with the projects assinged to these users in the xls format (comma seperated) by simply clicking this Download button.

  4. User Projects: A new button named "P" (Projects) is now introduced on the "Admin Users" interface. This button is available against the username along with the other set of buttons  "D" (Deactivate User) , "E" (Edit User) etc. Upon clicking this "P" button you will be directed to a new window and here you can VIEW, ASSIGN and UNASSIGN user to a project/projects. This new option minimizes the effort of going into individual projects and assigning the users.
     

IGP:DP 3.5.0 - Bug Fixes

  1. DP Bug fix - Import Presentation Template displays an error trying to import a non existent forms template.
  2. Bulk upload fixes:
    1. New Project > Bulk document upload messaging was not implemented
    2. Project > Bulk Upload > was only displaying messaging for successfully created documents
  3. Kindle: TOC Exclude from Section reorder option was not working for Auto generation of Internal TOC of Kindle8 format.
  4. User login Activation URL timeout - This value can be set in the DP Settings file variable "URL_EXPIRY_DAY = 7". Additionaly fixed the issue to now use this variable value to display in the email content.
  5. DP Interface Document Info - Language context was not saving.
  6. HTML importer has been updated for HTML5 elements
  7. MS Import - bug fixes
    1. Removed blank superscript spans appearing in footnote block
    2. Doesn't support multi-paragraph footnotes. This has been fixed
    3. Converted Underline and strike-through inline elements styles into span class value "underline-rw" and "strikethough-rw".
    4. XSL file has modified for "editor-comment-rw" and "editor-insertion-rw" elements
    5. Accept dynamic values through the regular expression in the .INI file.
    6. Removed empty section during import process.
    7. Manuscript Import block header movement in case of h4, h5, h6 used before blocks. To avoid moving the headers inside the block, class "header-rw" needs to be defined in csv.
  8. CSS Editor - Reset and Reset DD button now ask the user to confirm the reset operation. Earlier, the reset would be done without confirmation. And this caused Users to loose their work
  9. Media Manager - Some png images were loosing transparency on upload. These image when indexed (mode "P" in PIL) do not have have transparency set in PNG alpha channel, but in metadata info. So code is updated to handle these cases.)
  10. Index page - <cln> elements were appearing in index for epub2 and epub3 output.
  11. The Edit1 was not passing the account uid to the tib url. This caused the TIB to not use the account specific hyphenation file.
  12. TIB Report did not work correctly in Edit1. This was because Edit1 launches the TIB as a new window and Edit2 launches the TIB within the writer. and because of this, proper variables did not get passed to the TIB window launched by Edit1
