Tool Panels

IGP:Digital Publisher Interface 

After login the user interface displays features and options according to the user permissions and roles. All users have the standard User Tool Panel available.

Branding Bar

Branding Bar

The Branding/info bar contains the following information: 

  1. Account Name: The current account name you are accessing is in the top right corner.
  2. User Name: The Username you are logged in with is shown on the right.
  3. Log-out: Select this to immediately log out from the application and return to the login page.
  4. Language: A dropdown menu with  interface language (Internationalizaton-i18n) options. If there are n ooptional languages available, the dropdown menu will not show. The maintainer controls the default language on the dropdown.

All users can see and access the User Tool Panel.

All registered users have a private account. This is the primary document production work area for all users.  Tools available in the User Tool Panels are:

  1. Private documents. Create, maintain and deleted documents that can only be accessed and edited by you as a User.
  2. Projects. Access, maintain, edit and read documents that have been added to a project of which the user is a member.
  3. Library. Access and read documents that have been assigned to the Account library by an Administrator.
  4. Bookmarks. View, edit and categorize all personal bookmarks.
  5. Recent Documents. View the last 20 documents accessed in IGP:Writer.
  6. My Account. Maintain user personal account information and maintain and change passwords.

Account Administrators can also view and use the Administration Tool Panel in addition to their User Tool Panel. The Toolbars available in the Administration panel are:

  1. Users. Maintain account users.
  2. Projects. Create Projects, assign Project Managers and control user access to projects.
  3. Library. Access ALL documents in an account.
  4. Delete Library. Access all documents that have been deleted and are still within the cooling-off period.
  5. Templates. Access, create, maintain and delete Account specific document templates and components.
  6. IGP:Font Manager 2. The font interface which allows the uploading and management of fonts for the account.
  7. Processing Jobs. View the status of format and other processing options that are in the processing Queue. This is primarily for monitoring large volume batch processing jobs.

Maintainer Tool Panel

Maintenance users can view and use the Maintenance Panel in addition to the Administration Tool Panel for the Maintenance account and The User Tool Panel for the Maintenance Account.

Maintainers can maintain the full system (view, edit, maintain and delete) accounts, all projects, all documents and all users.

The Toolbars available in the Maintenance panel are:

  1. Accounts. Create, activate, maintain and delete accounts.
  2. Maintenance Users. Create, maintain and delete Maintenance Users for the entire system.
  3. Master Library. View and manage all documents in the entire installation. Note: The Maintenance Library view can see all documents for all accounts and users including Private Documents.
  4. Master Delete Library. View and manage all documents that have been deleted from all Accounts. This is the last catch-basket to recover deleted documents.
  5. Master Templates. Create, maintain and modify templates for all accounts in the system. Templates that have been set to global are available to all accounts.
  6. Master Languages. Set and configure the languages for the system.
  7. i18n (Internationalization). Maintain translation strings for all languages supported in the system.
  8. IGP: LRPE (Long Running Process Engine). Access the LRPE administration interface for the whole system.
  9. IGP:Font Manager 2. The font interface which allows the uploading and management of fonts for all accounts.
