Annotated reference list for FX F02:Bodytext selectors. Sorted alphabetically by purpose. Updated: 2012-09-09
This section contains definitions and usage guidelines for all the standard Foundation Bodytext Selectors specified by IGP:FoundationXHTML. Note that other than the template DP-Master-2012 is is unlikely and unrequired that all these Inline selectors are available in a single template.
Please note this is the Foundation list and not the complete list for all genres.
STYLE Makes a paragraph center aligned to its container margins.
STYLE Makes a paragraph fully justified to its container margins.
STYLE Makes a paragraph left aligned to its container left margin.
STYLE Makes a paragraph right aligned to its container right margin.
STYLE Changes the font of a paragraph to the primary defined alternative font if it has been specified in a font-scheme.
STYLE Turns an empty paragraph (must have at least three spaces applied) into a blank line 100% of the default line-height in print, 1em in e-reader content.
STYLE Removes any first-line indent applied to the paragraph.
STYLE Applies a space that is 100% of the main line-height or 1em below this paragraph.
STYLE Applies a space that is 50% of the main line-height or 0.5em below this paragraph.
STYLE Changes the font of a paragraph to the defined handwriting font if it has been specified in a font-scheme.
STYLE Changes a paragraph so the first line is aligned to the left margin and all other lines are indented to a multiple of the default line-height, or custom setting.
STYLE Indents the first line only of a paragraph an entire paragraph by a multiple of the default line-height, or custom setting.
STYLE Indents an entire paragraph by a multiple of the default line-height, or custom setting.
STYLE Applies a space that is 25% of the main line-height or 0.25em below this paragraph.
SEMANTIC Defines a paragraph as a footnote for processors.
SEMANTIC Defines a paragraph as a note for processors.
SEMANTIC Defines a paragraph as a line in a letter address block.
SEMANTIC Defines a paragraph as an answer in a conversation block context.
SEMANTIC Defines a paragraph as an attribution. Normally used in a block context such as block extract-rw.
SEMANTIC Defines a paragraph as containing details about an author in some block context.
