IGP:DP 2.2.0 - Updates, Upgrades & Enhancements

The following updates have been implemented in this release:

1. MathML Feature Implemented - For more details please refer http://learn.infogridpacific.com/writer2/writer-using-and-managing-mathml.html
2. MathML edit options in Writer - New Content Block have been introduced in the DPMaster-2012 template for MathML Inline and MathML Block.
   1. These blocks when inserted, launches an Editor Interface, into which the MathML code could be pasted and saved. 
   2. MathML code
      1. For inline MathML blocks the display value should be inline.
         for eg. <math display="inline"><mi>ν</mi></math> 
      2. For MathML blocks the display value should be block. 
         for eg. <math display="block"><mi>ν</mi></math>
   3. MathML Ascii code
      1. The user can also insert Math in ASCII format.
      2. for eg. a x^2+b x+c=0
      3. This can then be converted in MathML code
3. HTML Importer for MathML - XHTML/HTML files containing MathML can now be imported directly into Writer with the MathML. Go to More Tools > Import Document > Select Custom XML Tab > Select HTML from dropdown list.
4. Notes POP-UP for ibooks - The Pop-up generation for Notes is now handled to work on iBooks. A new option named "Notes to pop-ups on iBooks" is now available in "ePub3 Processing Options" under the  "Document Processing Instructions" DPI interface.

5. Document Typography Report Generation – A full typography analysis report quantifies and classifies all typography errors for a document. Includes download of all EOL hyphen errors for inclusion in Hyphenation dictionary if required. A new button has been introduced in the TIB interface for full book typography report. Refer http://learn.infogridpacific.com/tib/typography-reports.html for more details. The interface displays typography report of whole book organised on the basis of error types i.e.

   1. Section Turns
   2. Page Turns
   3. Paragraph Turns
   4. Loose Lines
   5. Blank Lines
   6. Base Lines

6. DP Controlled Templates list - Template list control has now been implemented at Account Level also. A checkbox of "Share for use" has been introduced, in Modify Template interface. On Selection of the checkbox, the Template will be available in the Template Dropdown list of New Document for that specific Account only.

7. CSS Editor keyboard shortcut - Ctrl+S has been introduced to save changes

8. TIB Editor keyboard shortcut - TIB editor now provides the following keyboard events

   1. Ctrl + S = Save Tracking
   2. Ctrl + X = Close tracking dialog
   3. Alt + L = Increment letter spacing
   4. Alt + Shift + L = Decrement letter spacing
   5. Alt + W = Increment word spacing
   6. Alt + Shift + W = Decrement word spacing
   7. Alt + R = Reset tracking
   8. Up Arrow = Increment tracking value (only works when tracking value textbox is focused)
   9. Down Arrow = Decrement tracking value (only works when tracking value textbox is focused)

9. TIB/Writer Edit Mismatch - You can now generate a pre-flight report that shows if there any content discripancies between Writer (FX) and TIB. The report also shows Brickwall warnings on PDF generation where Writer content edits have not been "Merged" to TIB. A new option named "View TIB Check Report" is introduced on the PDF Generation window. Click this option to generate TIB/Writer Edit Mistmatch report.

10. TIB Auto Merge - Currently, The merge of FX and TIB blocks occurs when user loads the section in TIB. This auto merge is now extended to the Composition PDF generation event.

11. Processing updates - Processing unwanted Editorial Assistance elements have been striped out from Output Formats.

12. Auto Save Event - Writer does an auto save after every 30 mins. This reloads the TIB if user is using TIB. This is now fixed. In TIB mode, auto save is disabled.

13. Apache Tomcat Upgrade - upgraded tomcat version from 7 to 8

14. Media Manager Interface updates - The Modify Image settings and Cover settings are updated to change label from new to modify and also to show the context of the container that is getting updated.

15. Media Manager - Image processing settings - Default values for image processing settings for online images are updated as follows.

IGP:DP 2.2.0 - Bug Fixes

1. Auto generated TOC section (using dpi form) was omitted in opf guide section for epub2.
2. NCX Bug Fix - Nested section id's are now retained, except for H1's.
3. For "Copy Backmatter Notes to Section End" option in DPI form, the pagebreak elements available in the Backmatter Notes, are now stripped from the copied Section End notes list.
4. ePub3 - Nav elements in TOC.xhtml: If document contain "Notes-rw" section with "pagebreak" and ePub3 is generated with "Remove End Notes" then remove pagelist nav elements for Notes section from TOC.xhtml.
5. While uploading images or any resources from the Project/Global Components, if the CSS Editor is open, the components dialog opens in the CSS Editor window and this leads to the CSS Editor window getting lost. User have to re-open the CSS Editor in this case.
6. Manuscript importer issue fix: a. Update to handle customized list styles using CSV import b. Unknown section have added a "title="Body"" attribute, previously this title attribute was missing during import process.
7. Remix updates - The following updates have been done for media remixing
   1. Remix Media Components: Passed original file i.e. print file to Media Manager process to be copied to Remixed Document
   2. Remix Non-media Components: Copy Non-media compoment to Remixed Document directly without going to Media Manager.
8. Mobi - Added superscript and subscript selectors in the Default Mobi CSS
9. Writer - The Content blocks control icon was not loading after Writer Editor pane is auto loaded. for eg. after "ID gen", "well-formness" event
10. epub2 - dc:type metadata was not appearing in OPF for ePub2.
