Update Patch Release Notes
The following updates have been implemented in this release:
In the current version of ACFS, there is no way to modify or change a customers existing registered email to a new email.
This has now been implemented at the ACFS Admin end, wherein the Admin user can update/change the emailID, on the customer's request.
- On Customer interface, under Tools, a new button 'C' has been added.
- On clicking 'C', the "Change Email ID" popup window will appear.
- Enter the New Email ID and Remarks.
- On Submit, if success, new email ID and Remark will be updateed and a message will display on interface.
- On change of customer email:
- The customer gets deactivated.
- An activation link email is sent to new email address.
- The customer is supposed to activate the new email, to use the system.
- All the registered devices against the old email ID, are deleted.
- A Log will be written on successful of email ID change.
- The used RedeemCode will also be updated with the new email ID.
- The customer will need to delete/de-register the old email account from thier existing devices/readers and register with the new email account on the devices/readers, and download the titles again.
- The purchase report was taking a lot of time to generate. Optimized the code.
